The S205 is a high-performance, low-power optical navigation chip. It is a chip widely used in tri-mode gaming mice, supporting both gaming and office modes: the gaming mode offers excellent responsiveness and a great experience, while the office mode is more power-efficient.
It has a maximum resolution of 6400 CPI, maximum speed of 120 ips, maximum acceleration of 25g, and a tracking precision of up to 1/8 pixel. It supports lift-off detection, has received a rating of up to 90 points from professional testing institutions, and offers performance comparable to top-tier gaming-grade chips.
