IST83023 is a fully customizable multi-mode backlit macro definition gaming keyboard chip, using a USB low-speed interface and supporting flashing.

Customizable: IST83023 supports EEPROM memory read and write from 4kb to 128kb, supports up to 160 keys, and users can configure key functions as needed (including Fn F1~F12 combination keys). A membrane keyboard array supports up to 26-key rollover, and according to the array, it is backward compatible with 19-key rollover. IST83023 supports key macro definitions and allows customization of VID/PID, manufacturer information, and device information strings.

Multi-mode: Normal mode and gaming mode. Normally, in normal mode, it uses the functions of standard keyboards (such as 87-key, 104-key keyboards, etc.); in gaming mode, any key in the array can be configured for keyboard, multimedia, special applications, macro definitions, and other functions. Normal mode and gaming mode can be switched using the Fn + M key combination.
