IST83025B is a fully customizable multi-mode backlit macro gaming keyboard chip, featuring a USB low-speed interface and supporting firmware programming.

Customization: IST83025B supports read and write operations on EEPROM memory ranging from 4kb to 128kb, supports up to 160 keys, and allows users to configure key functions as needed (including Fn F1~F12 combination keys). A membrane keyboard array can support up to 26-key rollover, and is backward compatible to 19-key rollover depending on the array. IST83025B supports key macro definitions as well as encoder macro definitions. VID/PID, manufacturer information, and device information strings can be customized.

Multi-mode: Standard mode and Gaming mode. In standard mode, it behaves like a regular keyboard (such as 87-key or 104-key keyboards); in gaming mode, any key in the array can be configured with keyboard, multimedia, special application, or macro functions. Standard mode and gaming mode can be switched using the Fn + M combination keys.
